Health & Nutrition
East Harlem Scholars Academy places a strong emphasis on making healthy food choices. Getting proper nutriution provides our scholars with the fuel their bodies need to ensure they are learning at their best.
Diet largely influences health. Packed lunches and snacks from home must meet the requirements of the school's healthy food policy. Listed below are a few examples of healthy choices.
Thank you for your support and cooperation as we instill healthy habits in our scholars!
Given the needs of our scholars with food allergies, East Harlem Scholars Academy is a peanut-free zone. Peanuts, peanut butter, peanut oil, and any products that may contain trace amounts of peanuts are not allowed in the building.
